Privacy Policy

Last updated August 2026

The short version: we collect what you type in, we don’t connect to your bank, we don’t sell anything to anyone, and you can have it all deleted by asking.

What we collect

Account information. Your email address, a password (stored only as a cryptographic hash — we never see it), and optionally a display name.

Financial information you enter. Account names, types, institutions, and balances. Debts, goals, and your Money Map answers. All of it is typed in by you.

Questions you ask Honey. The text you send to Ask Honey or Translate This Shit.

Basic usage data. Standard server logs and error reports generated when you use the site.

What we never collect

We do not ask for or store banking credentials. She Stacks does not connect to your bank. There is no account syncing. Every figure in your account was entered by you by hand.

If account syncing is ever introduced, it will go through an established third-party financial data provider that handles authentication directly with your bank — your credentials would never pass through us. We would update this policy before that launched.

We do not collect Social Security numbers, account numbers, card numbers, or government identification.

How it's protected

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is enforced at the database level, not just in the application — every table containing your information carries row-level security rules so that one account cannot read another’s data even if the application asked it to.

Passwords are hashed, never stored in readable form, and cannot be recovered by us — only reset by you.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We do not share it for advertising.

We use a small number of service providers to run the product, and they only receive what they need to do their job:

  • Supabase — database and authentication. Stores your account and the financial information you enter.
  • Vercel — application hosting and server logs.
  • Anthropic — powers Ask Honey and Translate This Shit. The text of your question is sent so it can be answered. Don’t paste account numbers or other sensitive identifiers into it.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

Your choices

Access and correction. Everything we hold about you is visible and editable inside the app.

Deletion. Email us at hello@shetalksmoneyhoney.com and we will delete your account and the data attached to it.

Email. Marketing emails are opt-in and you can turn them off in Settings or unsubscribe from any message. Essential account emails — password resets, confirmations — are not optional while you have an account.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is open. When you ask us to delete it, we remove it from our live systems; residual copies may persist briefly in encrypted backups before those expire.

Children

She Stacks is not intended for anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that materially affects how your information is handled, we’ll update this page and the date at the top, and notify account holders.
